My latest project is a book on the Catholic shrine of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary of Pompeii: Our Lady of Pompeii: Ruins, Religion and Memory. The book will be published soon by Oxford University Press, as part of the Classical Presences series.
The book focuses on the 19th-century Catholic shrine in the modern town of Pompeii, and its relationship with the nearby archaeological excavations.
